New site · Starting from zero, online bookings from day one

A new site, 72 units

A site opened with no office on it. The rental website, payments and e-signed contracts worked from the very first customer, following a 12-step checklist.

The situation

An investor was building their first self-storage site with 72 units and did not plan an office or staff on location. Everything an attendant would normally do had to happen online: choosing a unit, paying, signing the contract and driving onto the site.

How the rollout went

We worked through a 12-step checklist: company details, a site map with 72 units in three sizes, a price list with a dynamic rate when few units are free, the payment gateway, a contract template with e-signature, the accounting integration, and a gate code issued when the contract activates. The rental website was live on the investor’s own domain before the site opened.

The first customer

The first booking came through the rental website outside working hours. The customer picked a unit, paid, signed the contract through a link sent by SMS and received the gate code. The operator saw the rental in the panel the next morning, without a single phone call.

What it gives them

The site runs without an office: payment reminders go out by themselves, invoices land in the accounting system, and blocking access over arrears — then unblocking it once payment lands — needs nobody on location.
